Woven through Modet Dance Collective’s striking original pieces, members of Living Room Playmakers performed stories, songs, and plays about mankind’s possible futures: the last phone call, the trials of repopulation, the social anxieties of the recently thawed, and two siblings trapped in an L car at the end of the world.

Future Perfect Tension was performed Sunday June 15, 2014, at Stage 773.

As an example of the variety of work performed that night, here’s Then There’s This Glint of Red : a radio play written by Jennifer Rumberger, performed by Chad Eschman and Jennifer Rumberger, and edited by Jessy Lauren Smith. It played in the darkness between two dances.
